Shara Narsipur has over a decade of experience specializing in effective communications, including for highly innovative climate technologies like bluetech, biotech and foodtech. With cross-functional experience in wide-ranging areas including digital marketing, PR, industry relations, fundraising, stakeholder engagement, & sustainability, Shara has worked closely with management teams to develop impactful communications strategies that amplify industry leadership and positive environmental and social change.

Shara’s career began in agency work, where she managed large-scale content marketing operations through a diverse range of digital content creation and marketing campaigns. She later transitioned into environmental and science communication through the Stanford University Environmental and Water Studies program.

Shara has worked at the forefront of cutting-edge climate solutions in non-profit and rapidly growing startup environments. Her work has included managing communications for novel ocean innovation and food technologies, leading initiatives to build stakeholder trust and collaboration across global networks, including partnerships with organizations like the United Nations and federal U.S. agencies.

Academically, Shara holds a B.S. in Business Administration, with a focus on entrepreneurship, and an M.A. in Rhetoric and Written Studies with a focus on environmental rhetoric. Her masters research explores ecological narratives and oral histories of water usage in California’s Imperial Valley, an agricultural hub, emphasizing the role of communication in advancing climate resilience.

Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys surfing, diving, and mentoring foster youth, combining her passion for community and the environment.
